The aim of the BVDA scientific meeting is to share information on veterinary dentistry with collegues on all aspects of dentistry covering small animals, exotics and equine dentistry. Bill Gengler, president of the AVDC, from the University of Wiscinsin will be speaking on such topics as “What to do with that discoloured tooth” and “Practical orthodontic tips” as well as surigical diplomate from the US, Julius Liptak on “Caudal maxillectomy -when is a surgical approach indicated”. The keynote speaker is Dr Paul Cooper, a “human dentist” and Senior Lecturer in Molecular Biology at Birmingham Dental School who is involved in stem cell research in all aspects of oral biology and will talk about the futuire of stem cells in dentisty.
